DELHI ELECTIONS WOO 'SWINGING VOTERS'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday defended the amendments made in Land bill saying the new law will be used for development of villages and not for the rich.

During a public rally before Delhi assembly polls in Rohini, Modi said, “New land acquisition law brought through ordinance to be used for development of villages; not for the rich.”

The Prime Minister also attacked the Congress for teaching him the meaning of poverty. “Please do not teach me what is poverty; I have lived with it for years,” said Modi.

He promised to legalise the unauthorised colonies in Delhi saying it will not be a polls issue in the next elections. Modi also took on the Aam Admi Party over the funding controversy saying the party’s image has taken a hit after funding row.
