Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday defended the amendments made in Land bill saying the new law will be used for development of villages and not for the rich.
During a public rally before Delhi assembly polls in Rohini, Modi said, “New land acquisition law brought through ordinance to be used for development of villages; not for the rich.”
The Prime Minister also attacked the Congress for teaching him the meaning of poverty. “Please do not teach me what is poverty; I have lived with it for years,” said Modi.
He promised to legalise the unauthorised colonies in Delhi saying it will not be a polls issue in the next elections. Modi also took on the Aam Admi Party over the funding controversy saying the party’s image has taken a hit after funding row. He also lashed out at AAP for joining hands with Congress for govt formation.
